Middle-weight Graphic Designer, Central London

Fishpie are a small, busy design agency based in Central London working for National brands across the retail, food & beverage and finance sectors. We work closely with our clients to help them visually translate their brand and bring it to life through various formats.

We are looking for a talented middle-weight designer to join the team and work on brand collateral across both digital and print media.

You must have a passion for design, plenty of initiative and experience creating high-quality visual designs and thinking conceptually. Strong attention to detail is essential, plus good grammar / spelling. We expect the chosen candidate to be able to manage both our expectations and those of our demanding clients who work to some very tight deadlines. You’ll be required to confidently present ideas and designs with rationale, both internally and to clients, whilst taking feedback and iterating quickly to deliver to a deadline.

Projects may include:
• Website design
• Maintaining content on all websites
• E-newsletters
• Campaign creative concepts: ideas and visualisation
• Branding and brand development
• Creating visual assets, working with brand guidelines
• Creating ads for print and online
• POS roll-out for print
• Presentations and bespoke financial documents

This is a highly varied role and the successful candidate will have great skills in managing a wide range of projects, with strong communication skills. It's a fantastic opportunity for a talented candidate looking for their next career move.

Technical knowledge:
• Adobe creative suite
• Microsoft office applications, including Powerpoint
• WordPress is a must
• Basic HTML and CSS knowledge
• MailChimp (or equivalent)

Excellent understanding of the print process and can liaise directly with printers, with a good understanding of stocks and finishes is also essential.

We are a busy studio so you must be prepared to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, we don’t take ourselves too seriously though and do enjoy the challenge.
