The Role

Responsible for the project management and budget control of all JSR production - across Photography, Motion and Content.
We are seeking an experienced Producer to manage all JSR shoots/projects [ensuring they proceed smoothly and within budget from initial brief through to completion], whilst also assisting in developing and pursuing external opportunities for JSR Production.
This is a fantastic long-term opportunity to join a growing business, to work with a global client base, and help further develop the JSR brand.


Ideally 3+ years’ experience within production, managing all aspects of photo shoots from brief to completion.
Experience with moving image production, cinemagraphs, and animated GIFs an advantage but not essential.
Experience in preparing and managing budgets.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels, building strong working relationships.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills, with the ability to develop and drive processes.
Good Excel & Microsoft Office skills, plus CRM software (Salesforce) experience an advantage.
Ability to work well independently and use own initiative as needed.
Industry knowledge and network of contacts within the industry key. Photo agency experience beneficial.

Key responsibilities

The role will include, but not be limited to:
• Ensuring all details of each shoot/project are clearly defined prior to commencement – attending commissioning
/PPM meetings as needed.
• Managing all shoot/project logistics, including sourcing locations, studio hire, visas, permits, booking travel/
accommodation, catering etc.
• Managing all day to day needs of shoots/projects including sourcing props / equipment, model casting,
producing production schedules and call sheets.
• Attending shoots as needed offering “onsite” production support.
• Sourcing images, footage, music – including checking licence agreements/restrictions.
• Tracking and maintaining model and location releases, providing certificates of insurance for all projects as
• Liaising with all interested parties - clients, internal departments (JSR Agents, Sales, Post-Production/CGI,
Finance etc.) and artists - to ensure each project runs smoothly from pre-to-post production through to invoicing.
• Liaising between and managing both client and artist relationships, ensuring expectations are fully managed.
• Proactively manage junior production assistants work-flow and time, plus assist other JSR team members as
• Utilising approved 3rd party external non-UK Production Companies, as directed. Managing these relationships,
negotiating and tracking costs.
• Assisting JSR Agents/Management in drafting shoot/project cost estimates and preparing treatments based on
clients given brief.
• Understanding and negotiating “usage” rates.
• Allocating, managing and updating all aspects of the production budget; raising “job sheets”, detailing all
expected costs, supplier information, and reconciling the project on close.
• Liaising with Finance to ensure advanced & final invoices are raised timely and correctly.
• Responsibility for all purchase order raising and confirming supplier invoices/costs with Finance.
• Managing and updating supplier databases and contracts.
• Working to develop strong relationships with all external suppliers - consistently seeking to negotiate the best
‘rates’ and/or “services” for JSR.
• Attending and participating in new business pitches where required
• Working with Senior Management and/or other JSR team members to further develop and market JSR.
