Graphic Designer, Sweetpea & Willow


Sweetpea & Willow are searching for a driven and ambitious Designer to join the Creative team, who will help produce high-quality artwork across our website, print and social channels, which reflects our respected position within the interiors industry.


The role will also involve creating visually appealing and engaging email campaigns as well as assisting in regular photo shoots on location and in-house.


This is a broad role and as such, a candidate will require proven organisational skills showing an ability to meet deadlines and deliver multiple projects simultaneously.


Responsibilities of the Graphic Designer


- Producing and delivering consistently beautiful content for the website, social media, email campaigns and print advertisements.
- Ensuring visual language and brand identity is consistent throughout online and print.
- Creating and sending regular email newsletters to our subscribers.
- Confidently presenting ideas and designs, taking feedback and making changes to deliver to deadlines.
- Producing UI mock-ups for hand-off to developers.
- Photographing returned orders.
- Producing moodboards and creating basic CAD drawings for upcoming photo shoots and showroom layout changes.
- Updating website visuals using our back office Magento system.


Skills and Requirements of the Graphic Designer


- Minimum of 2 years professional design experience, in-house or agency.
- BA (hons) Degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, or a related field.
- Understanding of and experience using email marketing services such as Mailchimp.
- A great understanding of typography, layout and visual consistency
- Proficiency in Adobe CC – Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
- Basic HTML coding and CSS experience using a CMS is desirable.
- Knowledge of printing processes and ability to set up files for print.
- Previous photo shoot styling experience.
- Basic proficiency in CAD. SketchUp preferable.
- Technical Drawing skills are an advantage.
- Experience in an ecommerce / retail environment a bonus.

- Great attention to detail and an excellent eye for design.
- Self-motivated with a problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- The ability to efficiently work in a team environment as well as autonomously.
- A positive attitude towards all aspects of the role.


Benefits


- £23 - £26k per annum based on experience plus a pension scheme.
- Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm. Last Saturday of each month 9:30am to 4:30pm, when required.
