We have three primary teams - Styling, Photography, and Content - who make sure customers have an engaging, seamless and luxurious experience. About the role:

You will join a progressive and innovative Content Production team. This is a fully generalist role, with clear scope to be involved in all aspects of the work our brilliant team do content and product descriptions, and work across the many departments to support with creating content for the Farfetch website.

Working to the company’s brand guidelines within a large multi-lingual team of around 45 employees, you will be required to manage a team that creates well-written, succinct and accurate Content to describe luxury clothing, accessories and lifestyle products sold on the site.

You will have some experience working in an environment that is fast-paced and deadline driven. Ideally this would have been within copywriting or sub-editing role with a passion to move their career into production and workflow management.

What you’ll do:

You will manage the English Content team responsible for all Product Descriptions on Farfetch.
You will have overall ownership of planning and execution for this team.
You will work with the planning team to create a Product Content Calendar.
You will work with a Product Content Specialist to ensure the team create product descriptions that meet Farfetch and brand requirements.
You will monitor productivity driven KPIs and SLAs for your team of writers.
You will deliver BAU excellence with a team driven by frequent deadlines and high volume targets.
You will be responsible for permanent and freelance recruitment.
You will be required to manage all administrational tasks such as PO processing, PDP and performance management.
You will be required to suggest improvement initiatives, whether that is for internal or external tools and processes.
You will actively participate in the execution of our long-term PDP strategy, developed by our Content Manager & Head of Content.

Who you are:


You have experience content planning, leadership and project managing.
You have excellent organisational skills; you are intuitive and highly solution-oriented.
You have exceptional people & stakeholder management skills
You are able to work to clear deadlines but also to work independently
You are able to work quickly and to agreed daily targets
You have excellent writing skills
You have knowledge and love of fashion at all levels from high-end designers to cutting edge street style and with an understanding of garment and accessory construction
You are able to travel occasionally when required
Non-essential but desirable

You are comfortable with digital work on an in-house CMS
You have experience with working in e-commerce environment, preferably luxury fashion retail
