As Social & Digital Manager , you will be responsible for educating and entertaining the House Of Vans London audience – continually seeking to amplify our core values and programme of events.


Internal: Interactive Project Manager, EMEA Central Interactive Team
External: Photographers, videographers, event & communication teams, sponsors and other third parties


Support the Planning, creation and publishing engaging content across House Of Vans London Social Media channels: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and back office systems (art work requests, queue app data)

Own the Social Media calendar, ensuring event and brand content are balanced so engagement and audience growth targets are hit

Monitor the performance of organic and paid Social campaigns, providing stakeholders with comprehensive monthly reports

Work with the Interactive Project Manager to ensure all publishing deadlines are hit and digital communications are in-line with brand guidelines and tone of voice

Be the innovator for new Social Media initiatives, ensuring the core pillars of House Of Vans (Music, Action Sports, Art, Film, Street Culture) are reinforced

Brief designers, photographers and videographers – ensuring all content produced adheres to Vans global guidelines

Build and send the House Of Vans London bi-monthly/monthly email: ensuring subject lines, copy and layout are optimised

Cover events on Social Media via Instagram Stories/Live, Facebook Live and Twitter

Use Wordpress to publish news stories and relating to upcoming/past events and brainstorm concepts for new and exciting editorial

Complete any ad-hoc requests from internal stakeholders as required

Attend weekly project meetings, keeping the wider team updated on the communication plans for their events and projects


Minimum 3 years experience working in the arts/music/fashion sphere
Documented experience planning, briefing, running and reporting on paid social campaigns
Demonstrates ability to rely on data to inform strategy
Photography skills are a plus
Fantastic sense of humour with a keen eye for puns and memes
Excellent communicator & team player
Comprehensive knowledge of social media and best practices
Understands copywriting for web, including the importance of TOV and SEO
Knowledge of local London influencers
Comfortable managing multiple projects of varying scope
Advanced in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop & Microsoft Office packages
Must be willing to work hours outside of a normal working day, due to event requirements
Is a self-starter who is able to work independently
