Our client is highly regarded as one of the most reputable design agencies around and they are now in search of an accomplished Project Manager to join the team and assist with studio project management and client handling.

Working on a variety of branding and strategy projects across a diverse range of international clients, you will need to be an organised problem solver with a positive ‘can do’ attitude, and a sense of humour to boot. The ideal candidate will have fastidious organisational skills, impeccable writing skills, a passion for brand and design, account literacy and a true love of the arts.

As a seasoned Project Manager, you will already have proven experience project planning, working with and supporting creative designers, and managing suppliers for a notable agency. Additionally, you will have had first-hand experience working on multi-faceted deliveries for global brands, NGOs and / or institutions.

You will be conscientious with a natural initiative towards productivity and support of the wider team. As an ambassador of the agency, you will also demonstrate sensitivity towards client engagement and an emotional maturity that sees, and proposes, solutions. It goes without saying that you will be a well-presented and confident individual that is truly passionate about work and growing with an inspiring team.

You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience within a design environment

Main responsibilities:

* Managing projects from proposals to delivery

* General management of studio workflow with Project Director and existing Project Manager

* Supporting the design team in delivering all aspects of design and production.

* Generating proposals, managing time-plans and SOWs

* Project contact for clients and its suppliers

* Completing tender / pitch applications

* Manage design team in the absence of Directors


Key skills:

* Familiar with all aspects of print and digital design - knowledge of signage and way-finding would be advantageous.

* Adept at problem-solving.

* Methodical and proactive approach to projects and their management.

* People management skills for all levels.

* Ability to write proposals and familiarity with the financial and legal obligations of projects such as project reporting, NDA’s

* Literate and numerate with strong administration skills.

* Understanding design and production process and knowledge of different types of production and materials.

* Good communication skills with internal team and clients.

* Excellent presentation and communication skills.
