We’re looking for a Marketing & CRM Assistant, with significant knowledge / experience of working with databases for a fixed term of three months.

There is possibility of an extension of an additional three months (and beyond) if successful. We are looking to fill this role as soon as possible.

This is an opportunity to work on the marketing desk of the Rankin Group to assist in the development and build of a VIP database / CRM system.

The position would be ideal for a candidate keen to develop a career in marketing / digital marketing – especially within the arts / cultural / creative sectors.

Rankin's group now includes Hunger Magazine and Hunger TV (lifestyle, news, culture and fashion) and The Full Service advertising agency.

Rankin made his name in publishing, founding Dazed & Confused with Jefferson Hack in 1992. He has created landmark editorial and advertising campaigns for some of the most celebrated publications, biggest brands and pioneering charities. He has published over 30 books and is exhibited in galleries around the world.

Role & Responsibilities

• Research: undertake detailed research to ensure accuracy and detail of existing contacts (from across a variety of sources)
• Input of existing contacts into new database
• Development of a sustainable routine to ensure new contacts are integrated into the database
• Management of controlled mailouts to contacts within new database
• Creation of a CRM Database manual for ongoing maintenance

Experience & Attributes

Working under the instruction of a Marketing Director and reporting directly to the CEO, we are looking for candidates with the following experience &/or skills / attributes:


• Highly computer literate
• Significant knowledge / experience of working with databases
• The ability to learn quickly and think laterally / problem-solve
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communications skills
• Sustain focus to deliver work according to schedule
