We’re hiring! MutualArt is looking for a creative Data Analyst to join our marketing team at our Covent Garden office. The role is a 12 months maternity cover, with the possibility to turn into a permanent role.

Our comprehensive art information database provides past auction prices for over 300,000 artists, accompanied by detailed analytics tools that offer an objective picture of today’s market - from the price of a Picasso ceramic or Warhol print, to performance charts for the market’s leading contemporary artists.

Trusted by over 500,000 members, our database covers over 17,000 museums, galleries and auction houses. Every entry on our site is verified by our global team of data specialists, and is complemented by details of relevant exhibition and press coverage, to give a broader picture of an artist’s market.


• Be our Data Storyteller, providing data insights to support narrative development for our new datadriven content strategy for internal publications (e.g. newsletter), social media and external articles
• Be confident and comfortable when providing insights during interviews with external reporters
• Lead the project development of the MutualArt Analytics Platform, creating timelines and defining vision, working closely with Design, Business Intelligence and Development to produce new data tools
• Work with Marketing on the strategy for the launch of the new data products
• Extract and manage user lists for regular communications (newsletter) and marketing campaigns
• Prepare reports for marketing and business development opportunities with third parties (conferences, external reports, etc.)
• Analyze marketing campaigns and activities across all channels
• Work closely with the Product and Data teams to ensure data consistency and quality
• Work with our Content Team to prioritize the collection of relevant data and utilize data to improve coverage and data quality of artists on the site.
• Manage the internal research strategy, including the targeting and implementation of surveys and focus groups materials

How to Apply

Requirements • 2+ years’ experience in hands-on data analysis and insight roles
• Previously worked in a global company, you prefer working with small teams in a fast-paced environment
• Art market experience is key
• Exceptional analytical skills and Excel knowledge, you like numbers and numbers like you
• Excellent communication skills, you can present your insights clearly and creatively both verbally and in writing
• Data visualization experience is a plus
• Experience with SQL is a nice-to-have
• Fluent in English Character
