Our client is a leading branding agency based in east/central London, working with a world-class selection of clients that range from industry leaders to ambitious start-ups.

Their approach to briefs means that every single member of staff gets the opportunity to make a real difference across the business, in a no-ego's environment.

They're now looking for an experienced or aspiring creative artworker to join their team, in a truly invaluable role for the studio, someone who's a real stickler for details with impeccable organisational skills.

Although similar, It's important to say this is not a graphic design role, and applicants should be comfortable and familiar with the below.

The role:
Our artworkers play an integral part in the design process by finessing every project and scrutinising every detail to ensure each job is perfect before it leaves the studio. This role is suited to someone with that ideal balance of right-brain/left-brain; equally creative and logical, artist and perfectionist. The role also involves providing production advice to the design team, so a good working knowledge of paper stocks and printing techniques is key.

Typical, day-to-day tasks will include fine-tuning brand guidelines, crafting logos, creating brand assets for print and screen, artworking packaging, liaising with printers and paper reps, and performing technical studio admin. We have a team of 8 designers, one head artworker/production manager and several freelancers.

About you:
As an artworker, your attention to detail and organisational skills should be awesome by default. With at least 2 years industry experience under your belt, you will be fluent in the CC suite and you should be comfortable producing flawless artwork for all kinds of print and digital applications. Working closely with the design team, you will be encouraged to use your production experience and creative eye to help provide solid solutions to our daily design challenges.

A good sense of humour is essential, as is the ability to keep a level head when those unexpected deadlines strike. You must obviously be mac savvy, and you should feel confident taking responsibility for archiving, backups and software installation.

Proof-reading qualifications are not absolutely necessary, but there is a large amount of typesetting involved in this role, so you must possess a solid grasp of spelling and English grammar.
