What we're looking for...

We're after a creative visual storyteller to join the team and help us deliver beautifully crafted animations for all kinds of brands, working in-house from our Brighton studio. You will be a versatile digital artist who’s equally comfortable in the worlds of graphic design & illustration, as well as being willing and able to work in a broad range of styles.

The role will work closely with our animation team to develop art direction and storyboards for projects; producing key frame designs, style guides and assets ready for animation. It’s essential that you can sketch up ideas with speed and ease to help communicate concepts to clients, as well as produce high end final artwork.

Our new Designer & Illustrator will have professional experience working directly with clients and developing creative solutions to answer briefs. You will also be the kind of person that likes to experiment and keep up to date with new techniques & technologies.

We need someone who’s easy-going, honest and focussed to fit in with our growing team of dedicated and creative folk. As well as being a talented illustrator and designer, we're looking for someone who wants to get stuck in and help build a great motion design studio: both in terms of work and culture.

We want to hear from passionate people who will work hard with us to elevate the studio’s output and push creative boundaries to surprise & delight our clients. We also want to hear from those who love to work collaboratively and want to develop their own skills whilst helping to support & develop those around them.

What we’re offering...

* Open dialogue: Everyone on the team works with - and gets direct access to - the studio’s Directors & Co-founders. As a young, dynamic business, we’re not afraid to make changes if we see the value in trying something new, so it’s an exciting time to jump aboard, grow with us and help shape our future.

* Development focus: We work together to support people’s growth and development. We have a solid review process to regularly reflect on successes and failures, with the goal of giving and receiving honest feedback to provide everyone the opportunity to get better at what we do.

* Flexibility: We fully encourage a good work life balance. We’ll always do our best to support this by offering flexibility through an informal give & take system that’s built on trust.

* Healthy studio culture: The company was founded on a desire to strike a good balance between enjoying a nice lifestyle and producing great work. So whilst we’re committed to delivering quality content; we want this to be done by a team that feels happy and valued. It’s very rare to see us working into the night or on weekends.

* Fair pay: We keep regular tabs on industry standards when it comes to salary and we aim to reward people fairly. It’s part of building a team who feel valued.

* Lovely working environment: We have a super studio space on Orange Row in the centre of the North Laines, with plenty of natural light and everything you could want on our doorstep.

* Nice-ness! We’re a friendly bunch who are honest, open and fun. We approach things with what we feel is the right mix of professionalism and appreciation that we’re lucky enough to make animations for a living… You can’t take that too seriously!
