Marketing & Communications Assistant: Job description

Responsible for:
• Internal Communications – ensuring everything circulated both within the studio and anything
emailed/posted out fits the brand, from the tone of correspondence, to the design of client targeted
event invites, and packaging of mail outs and competition submissions.
• Support business development by assisting in writing, designing and producing proposals of a high
standard to help the practise win new work
• Liaise with internal and external resources to produce design projects for print as well as screen
• Maintaining social media platforms; Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and assisting with minor website
• Understanding and learning Adjayes Associates portfolio of work, practice areas, and global
• Maintaining resources & information systems: updating project documentation, project sheets, staff CV’s
and image libraries

• Competent in adobe InDesign, InDesign and Photoshop
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including creating effective presentations and
marketing collateral
• Strong graphic design skills
• Passionate about ensuring a cohesive brand across the whole company in both offices
• A desire to push the firm ahead of its competition
• Enthusiastic
• Attention to detail and talent to reflect the brand’s aesthetic and unique features
• Calm under pressure
• Ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-moving environment
• Can-do attitude
• Flexible and able to adapt to deadlines
