This is a senior role dedicated to designing and leading projects for our Partnerships team, ASOS Creates. This team sits within the wider Brand Experience team which also contains Project management, Styling, Social and Marketing teams that you will work closely with. Our role is to create aspirational 360 campaigns from ASOS and brand partners and communicate these across multiple platforms.


You should be an experienced, confident designer who can lead design briefs from concept to execution. You will have superb layout, typography skills. Your design skills and styles are extremely versatile, and you are flexible and happy to work in a fast-changing environment.


You will be able to manage direct reports and mentor any designers who are working on partnership projects. You should be confident presenting ideas both internally and to brands. You must be proactive and able to work independently. You should have lots of original ideas and be able to articulate them clearly in team meetings and brainstorms. You will be aware of emerging technology and how we can utilise them for ASOS.com
You will have a BA/HND or equivalent in graphic/web design and an outstanding portfolio. You’ll have great attention to detail, be driven and willing to adapt to change and go the extra mile. You’ll be diplomatic, be forthcoming with ideas and initiatives, enthusiastic and a team player and a first-class communicator able to speak to different people in a variety of departments.


You will manage more junior members of the team ensuring their ongoing development and helping get best out of all of our designers.


What you'll be doing...


Lead a team of designers to execute creative projects for our partnerships team, ASOS Creates
Constantly evolve ways the ASOS identity can work with our brand partners identities
Understand creative vision of department as directed by Head of Creative
Support direct reports in the development of their careers
Be a constant source of inspiration by bringing new ideas and concepts to work
Actively respond to fluctuating business workloads
Actively aware of all areas of design and tech
Raise workload/resource issues of the team with proactive solutions
Ensure all projects are executed within time line and schedule
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with all other departments
Work with Concept, Content, Project Management, Styling and Marketing teams to design and deliver excellent visual site imagery with quality and performance.
Create visual designs that effectively communicate seasonal concepts and brand identity, as well as the design and production of screen layouts, colour palettes, interface elements, iconography, typography, style guides, etc helping the rest of the team follow in your vision for projects
We'd love to meet someone with...


A BA/HND (or equivalent experience) in graphic design and an outstanding portfolio
Previous experience of a design role
Highly creative
Superb layout and typography skills.
Good verbal and written communication.
Ability to think creatively and explain work to team members.
Ability to sell design ideas to wider teams or collaborators
Ability to manage people as well as projects
Good multitasking skills.
Fast worker that can uphold attention to detail.
Mac literate
