This year we are extremely excited to bring to market a brand new type of mobile gaming experience, called ‘Snatch’. Snatch is a brand engagement platform targeting Millennials and Gen Zers; connecting them to the brands they love via GPS tracking in an AR mobile game.

The Role
The role sits within the graphics team at PlayStack, reporting to the Head of Graphics. It would suit a junior designer who loves to visualise creative ideas. You’ll be working with an expert brand partnerships team, giving them the materials they need to pitch exciting and highly creative concepts to some of the world’s most famous brands. It’s a varied and fast paced role - with plenty of scope for creative thinking

PlayStack is a fun and fluid environment to work in, below are some examples of the way you will be working and the types of assets you will be asked to generate:

Collaborative work
Motivated and forward facing. You’ll approach a challenge with positivity - working to provide the team with the assets they need to succeed.
You’ll work closely with the Snatch brand partnership team to ensure the ideas you are generating together are realised in a clear and effective way. Your approach as a designer to help solidify concepts and trim back on detail to make the ideas jump off the screen.
You’ll tailor-make your artwork and visuals to fit the teams presentation platforms. You’ll be working digitally - but Snatch blends the line between the virtual and the real. You’ll really get a chance to stretch your creative muscles.

Campaign Pitch Concepts
You’re an Adobe expert- but with special focus on Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign - your classic graphic design tools.
You’ll be creating comped imagery - to both initial scamps and polished quality. Ready to be dropped into Snatch pitch decks for presentation.
Comfortable under pressure and great at dealing with deadline driven design work.
Drawing skills would be very helpful for you - but not essential.

The Ideal Candidate

BA Hons degree in the field of Graphic Design or similar
Strong knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Eye for detail, layout and typography, recent and future trends
Able to clearly articulate your ideas
Pride in presenting highly polished work
Organised and used to working to deadlines
Outgoing personality with a good sense of humour
Interest in video games and the games industry
