Overview
We aim to create zero degrees of separation between ad agencies, brands and young Londoners. Key within this are the people who connect us to people and culture in the city – the ON ROAD community. As part of our commitment, we want to find the best possible ways to service these individuals, help them progress and find opportunity to do more creative or innovative projects. This is where the community manager has a role to play... We are seeking an enterprising, connected individual to help serve our network of young people here in London. Although this job will be based in London we may also require you to travel and work across the world for research projects.
As Community Manager we want you to be the first point of contact for kids, coaches and community leaders across London for ON ROAD. Your job will centre around relationship building with young people, amplifying the network and updating and overseeing the network database alongside the project manager. You will need to be hypersocial and hands-on with your approach and support the team of fixers around you to consistently bring forward new profiles on a weekly basis and present them to the business stakeholders. We require you to go deeper than it might be comfortable, to ask questions, connect with incredible young Londoners and build a community that’s meaningful.

Duties & responsibilities
1. Engage in the larger sporting and creative community in London by attending events and networking with youth focused events and organisations.
2. Identify and establish relationships with key community leaders, coaches and communities across the city.
3. Perform weekly one-on-one meetings with Project Manager to track individual performance and management of Network.
4. Develop relationships with Insiders and proactively gather information on their needs to identify leadership team that could help them achieve their goals.
5. Ensure a cohesive community and manage expectations of extended network throughout the project by encouraging participation and invitation of monthly brand events.
6. Responsible for inputting the profiles into the network database.
7. Seek opportunities to engage and elevate individuals from the extended network through initiatives that business stakeholders can support.
8. Handover identified opportunities to business stakeholders.
9. Participate in weekly meetings between the project manager and business stakeholders to discuss new profiles brought forward by fixers.
10. Support the referral of prospective fixers.
11. Regular liaisons with clients and business stakeholders.


Experience & requirements
1. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
2. Open-minded with the ability to learn and acquire new ways of working.
3. A natural connector with the ability to identify opportunities through working with young people.
4. Confidence and experience to be a key point of contact on project both internally and externally.
5. Proactive approach in building relationships with young people as well as clients.
6. Demonstrate integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, and empathy.
7. Passion and understanding for entrepreneurial communities.
8. Experience in building and supporting creative or sporting communities.
9. Culturally astute and aware of the industry around them.
10. Must have previous experience in a client facing role and be comfortable working with creatives.
