We’re working with a really exciting Social Content agency based in the heart of East London who are looking to hire an Instagram Coordinator / Social Media Manager. Having recently launched two new social channels, the agency is looking for someone who can act as the voice of the channels and drive social media engagement and conversation with the GenZ audience. The Coordinator would work primarily with Instagram but is also expected to work across other media platforms incl. Snapchat. This person needs to be up to date with the latest social trends and personally engaged with social media platforms, understanding how to create engaging and interesting social content. You must be able to show examples of this with your own social profiles.


Essential Requirements:

• Confident self-starter who is passionate about bringing great ideas to life

• Social media obsessed and understands how key social media platforms tick (eg. Youtube, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram)

• 1-2 years experience in building a successful instagram profile (either personally or for a brand)

• Culturally clued-up and immersed in internet culture, understanding the GenZ audience and what they like to watch online

• Business acumen and commercial instinct

• Reactive thinking and ability to think creatively

• Great organisational and management skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills, including great verbal and written communication

• Confident meeting deadlines and working in a time-pressured environment

• Experience with instagram properties, analytics and scheduling tools

• Being part of an instagram community would be a huge benefit

• Keen interest in ‘Careers’, ‘Sustainability’ and ‘Entertainment’ would be also be a plus


Responsibilities:

• Research the web in order to identify social trends and source shareable and relevant content for the channels

• Be opportunistic with filming content for Instagram Stories

• Publish and schedule engaging content across Instagram Stories, Feed and IGTV

• Manage the online community and manage social communication even if it extends beyond working hours

• Creating platform-specific content and understanding how to utilise the different social media channels

• Be able to come up with and confidently present great ideas to the surrounding team

• Ability to meet the agreed KPI’s and work towards strict deadlines

• Strategise and implement a social media strategy

• Be engaged in internet communities and social media culture, absorbing current trends and finding ways to integrate this into the social media channels
