A.T. Studio, the award winning design studio of acclaimed designer Aitor Throup and his directional menswear brand, is looking for a Communications Assistant to join a new team based in Burnley, Lancashire.


We are looking for someone with excellent communication and writing skills, attention to detail and with previous experience working with press, social media and ideally high profile organisations within the creative and fashion industry.


The studio drives products to the highest level, and we are looking for someone able to generate innovative communication and marketing strategies to meet the studio’s high standards and maximise growth opportunities.


The role will be responsible for producing all written content, working on social media strategies, liaising with international publications and influencers, consistently and continuously creating exposure for all the Aitor Throup related projects and brands. The Communications Assistant will focus on translating the studio’s business objectives into strategic media relations and content, marketing projects to clearly communicate the studio’s core values and generate media coverage.


The applicant needs to be resourceful, pro-active and comfortable with working within tight deadlines across multiple projects. We are looking for someone who can consistently work to an extremely high level of quality and able to clearly articulate the studio’s ethos and values.


Responsibilities
Producing all written content (press releases, social media copy, PR pitches, presentations etc.)
Generating and executing communications and marketing strategies to meet business objectives.
Maintaining, cultivating and extending the studio’s existing network (press, collaborators, influencers etc.)
Pitching and securing press features and exclusives.
Identifying growth opportunities for the studio and delivering on them.
Management of media interview schedules.
Managing operations and communications for all press related activities and events.
Working closely with the graphic and product departments to continuously strengthen A.T. Studio image and values.
Maintaining and updating the digital and physical press archive

Skills
Excellent written and verbal English.
Strong organisational and analytical skills.
Ability to think critically and conceptually.
Ability of clearly communicate the studio’s core values and identity.
‘Outside the box’ thinking.
Strong attention to detail.
Social Media management experience (writing and executing posts) and familiar with SEO.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and to work under pressure.
Ability to self-evaluate, develop work independently and confidently propose solutions.
Ability to manage and/or collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver results.
Ability to respond productively to feedback.
Self-confident, proactive and comfortable with taking initiative.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite.
Good knowledge of InDesign.
