We’re looking for an experienced Python/Django and Node.js developer to join our team in London. You should have strong opinions about how development is done in 2018 and be up to date with the latest technologies, along with regulatory and ethical concerns. You will be joining a multidisciplinary agile team, where you will:

Develop and maintain new and existing features and functionality for Boiler Room products and applications that are:

Stable and reliable
Usable, intuitive and accessible
Collaborate with the rest of team to ensure the required infrastructure and back-end supports features and functionality

Manage third-party services used by Boiler Room products and applications

Write specifications and technical documentation for new features and functionality


Continuous integration and DevOps tooling
Javascript (Node/Express)
API design
GraphQL (bonus)


At least 2 years as part of a collaborative, cross-functional Product team, ideally adaptable across Scrum and Kanban.


Be a brand ambassador for Boiler Room; ensuring everything you do at Boiler Room is in line with our manifesto and vision.
Be open to feedback from your Head of Department and peers to benefit personal/project development and learning.
To promote teamwork and ensure effective working relations and communication across the whole company.
