Contagious is a creative and strategic intelligence service that helps ad agencies and brands deliver more creative, innovative and effective marketing.

We're looking for someone to join our editorial team as a researcher/writer to work in our London office.

We’re after someone who loves the world of advertising and marketing, is fascinated by developments in technology and is just plain nosey about what’s changing in consumer culture.

We need someone who knows the difference between great, innovative marketing and a badly thought out gimmick. You’ll see the potential in new ideas and understand what it all means for brands.

This is an entry-level role and involves a lot of talking and writing about what’s changing in the world of marketing and why: if you aren’t genuinely curious about these areas, this isn’t the job for you. This role could suit a recent graduate, or someone with some initial experience in advertising/marketing, trends or journalism.

The core purpose of the role is to source and research campaigns, trends and innovations in marketing, and write short-form articles. The work undertaken by this role contributes primarily towards the Contagious I/O research platform and our quarterly magazine. Reporting to the Editor and working as part of the editorial team, your time will be split approximately 80% research duties, and approximately 20% writing.
