To support our mission to put creativity and our clients at the heart of everything we do, we are looking for a highly creative, accomplished Designer/Artworker. The role is an integral part of our creative team, working specifically within one of our dedicated account teams. You’ll be fully versed at working across traditional 2D design projects, but also have an understanding of how 2D design works in a 3D space or experience. One of the keys to success in this role is proven experience in taking a project from concept right through to final artwork, across a wide variety of sizes, timescales and types of project.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Working closely with our account team, you will be responsible for concept development and design (including final artwork) for all client projects
– Ensuring your ideas are developed into fully deliverable proposals; and that the design can be successfully cascaded through all media/formats associated with the project
– As dedicated design resource for one of our clients, you will be our inhouse expert for that account, acting as the brand guardian within the wider creative team
– Meeting with the client brand team on a regular basis to ensure you’re always up to speed with their latest campaigns, assets and guidelines, cascading that info to the wider innovision creative team
– Presenting ideas back to key stakeholders as necessary, both within innovision and the client
– Applying a forensic attention to detail and understanding of how each piece can and should work within the live event space
– Creating effective working processes, for example templating regular work to maximize output while maintaining quality
– Managing all creative assets for the account, ensuring they are clearly labelled and stored on the innovision server
– Collaborating with Production and Technical departments to ensure consistency and deliverability of vision and quality is retained across the board
– Working with the account team to ensure timely responses to adhoc requests
– Reporting of time spent against each project


QUALITIES
– Dynamic, engaging and passion for live events and communications
– Good marketing knowledge, understanding the customer journey/pathway to purchase for a product or brand, keeping that knowledge at the forefront of your design thinking
– Strong working knowledge of the following design packages essential: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Splash (event marketing software – further training can be provided), experience of animation/motion graphics would be beneficial
– Excellence in creativity and design
– You should possess the experience, confidence and appetite to interrogate client briefs to understand exactly what is needed to confidently translate not just into brand solutions but also how 2D design works within a 3D environment or experience
– Ability to think creatively, approach challenges from new and interesting viewpoints, and work collaboratively with the client and the in-house team alike, to develop creative and innovative solutions
– Ability to see and understand the bigger picture on a project, taking ownership and pride in your own individual work but also the collective goals and aims of the wider team
– Excellent presentation skills
– Passionate about design and ideas, trends and ways to bring these into your work, ensuring we’re at the forefront of creativity
– The ability to make logical, well-balanced and reasoned decisions, both on your own and also as part of a collective working group or brainstorm scenario
– An excellent knowledge of artwork, print and print techniques is essential
– Ability to work efficiently and manage time against each task / project
– UK National or relevant permissions to work in the UK
