We are on a quest to find an ambitious and practical Senior Account Manager who can help support and grow our existing client relationships, and keep our project rolling in on budget and on time for our lovely clients. Someone who will bring years of experience, positive attitude and talent to the party as we continue to grow and expand Hex Studio.

In a nutshell, we need someone with:

An understanding of small design agency life
Example of project planning with an enforces to forecast projects and keep to budgets
Ability to explain the full design process in a clear and logical ways

As a Senior Account Manager at Hex Studio, your day to day duties for this role will include:

Client Management:

- Being the main point of contact day to day, presenting advice and guidance to help our clients achieve the best possible outcomes and a great return on their investment
- Understand client’s communication challenges; this is not merely attending meetings with the client and asking them what their needs are, but gaining deep knowledge about the business problems that the clients are solving
- Developing new potential business opportunities - attending events with the design team to get the Hex name out there

Project Management:

- Short-term and long-term scheduling and resource planning, making sure all decision and planning are backed up with budget reports - forecasting is very important for us
- Define the scope of projects, ensuring that project requirements are clearly understood by all involved (both the client and the team)
- Lead daily meetings with the team to keep all team members up to date. Report on the status of projects budgets and process
- Prepare and manage proposals, budgets, contracts, project stages, and delivery dates.
- Write creative briefs (or ensure they are written well) and make sure there is a common understanding of objectives between the client and the creative services team
- Increasing our turnover and profitability with clients by financial tracking and project management - Weekly reports on the status of projects, ensuring projects are on track and on budget

Operational Excellence:

- Ensure proper project close-out, including archiving of files so they can be easily accessed when needed in the future
- Developing and managing process journeys to make all process as streamlined and productive as possible
- Helping develop and maintain our co-working space by managing events and community events
- Helping with invoicing clients and working with our bookkeeper to implement expenses

Your professional background:
- Minimum of 3 years experience of working in a design studio.
- Excellent time and budget management and organisations skills
- Comfortable in scoping, quoting and contracting of new projects
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong organisational and prioritisation ability
- Confident self-starter
- Good understating of the design process and the workings of a small studio
