Based: London
Level: Mid-Weight
Salary: £30,000 to £30,000
Contract: Full Time
Applications Close: 04 March 2019
Job Listing Added: 18 January 2019

Marmalade London is a studio of passionate designers based in London Bridge. We create dynamic digital & physical brand solutions for both UK-based and international clients. Working primarily across fashion, luxury and F&B sectors – for clients such as Amazon, Hunter, ASOS & Michael Kors – we work alongside both start-ups and global brand leaders to elevate and futureproof their brand offering.

As a new member of the growing Marmalade team, we’re looking for an efficient Middleweight Designer with a good eye for detail and clear conviction in their design decisions. The central responsibility within this role will be designing branding and packaging for a global client of ours, therefore a strong background in design for print & packaging is key.

We always look for passionate, positive attitudes across our entire team - from day one you’ll hit the ground running attending client meetings and contributing creative output across an array of projects, so we’re looking for an accomplished designer with initiative and a strong, can-do work ethic.

What we’re looking for:

– A talented Designer with at least 1/2 years industry experience in a middleweight role

– A flair for packaging design demonstrated within your portfolio – this is key

– A collaborative, can-do attitude

– Experience of seeing projects from client brief to completion

– Appreciation that everything we do revolves around meeting client expectations and satisfying customer experience

– The ability to generate and communicate ideas in spoken & written English (both internally and externally)

– Excellent typographic skills

– Experience and understanding of print process and production

– A high level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator & inDesign are a must)

Lastly, and just as important as your skill set, is your sense of humour - as a close knit team with a reputation for high speed, high quality design, we need someone who’s glass is always half full!
