Art Director - O2 Alive Magazine (3 days p/w)

We are looking for a dynamic, resourceful and talented Art Director for O2 Alive Magazine. We need someone who has experience of working on a tight budget but who wants to break new ground it comes to graphic design and layouts. They must be willing to Get Involved in all elements of the magazine as it is a small team and requires someone who can think on their feet when working with the editor. They will get to make their mark though on this bi-monthly entertainment title which is distributed for free in O2 stores. Experience of working with a client and being able to build trust with them would be ideal but we want bag loads of enthusiasm and ideas too!

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Design and conceptual development in line with client brief for O2 magazine
• Design layouts across magazine and work with editor to create cover concepts each issue
• Stay ahead of trends and new ideas and have the ability to interpret these in to relevant creative
• Understand client objectives and offer ways to meet these
• Ensure only the highest quality creative is delivered and meets the brand objectives
• Deliver photoshoots as required suggesting photographers and stylists etc
• Commission illustrators/Photographers as required
• Work with creative agency to ensure O2 look and feel is met
