Our client is the leading online marketplace for independent boutiques and one of Europe’s top e-commerce startups, backed by the funders behind ASOS, Farfetch & Etsy. Experiencing rapid growth over the last few years, they're now looking for a digital designer/art director to join their small design team based in their London office near Liverpool Street. You will be producing artwork for the website, social channels, emails and offline projects when relevant. Being part of our in-house team you will report into the Creative Brand Director and play a part in shaping the aesthetic of the brand as it evolves, working in an extraordinarily fast paced, start-up environment. You’ll be working on a wide range of exciting projects so a breadth of design knowledge is essential and, as we’re a online brand, solid e-commerce experience is crucial. We are looking for someone who can deliver exceptional work that inspires our customer to purchase and makes them loyal and excited about our brand. You need to be able to think commercially and have an entrepreneurial approach in the way you work. What you will do: — Alongside the Creative Brand Director develop campaign concepts — Work within the Brand Marketing team to produce on brand, engaging content of the highest standard with our customer front of mind for a wide range of online and when relevant offline channels — Partner with internal teams across the company on graphic briefs. Develop innovative ideas in response to their needs resulting in the production of high quality content — Design and update on site content on a regular basis using the CMS — Create landing pages to support marketing content campaigns — Support wider marketing team creating visuals for paid social channels, email and digital display adverts — Scope out design initiatives and juggle multiple projects, proactively managing your own time Required experience and qualifications: — 4+ years relevant industry experience — A strong portfolio of relevant digital, creative work, ideally in interiors, design or fashion e-commerce — Proven experience in digital / social campaigns — In-depth use of the Adobe Creative Suite — Strong understanding of design fundamentals such as typography, colour and layout — The ability to work independently — Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills — Self-motivated, flexible and with impeccable attention to detail —Bachelor’s degree in design or related field
