Design Intern

Based: London
Level: Intern
Salary: Undisclosed
Contract: Internship
Applications Close: 22 February 2019
Job Listing Added: 11 February 2019

The Agency of Design is multidisciplinary design studio. We design, prototype and build tomorrow’s products and experiences for the world’s most forward-thinking organisations.

Our diverse team of strategists, engineers, coders and designers combine creativity with critical thinking to solve challenging problems. It is this unique combination of skills that allows us to deliver an award-winning portfolio of work across products, experiences, interfaces, games and installations.

The role

We are looking for an intern to join the team in Mid April, for around 3 months. There will be further opportunities later in the year.

We are interested in hearing from passionate people who have the same aspirations and vision as we do. We’re looking for someone who can both input into fast paced, client-facing work, alongside helping the studio run smoothly by sourcing materials, engaging with manufacturers or helping to build and prototypes ideas.

Successful applicants will be both creative and practical, and be flexible working outside their chosen discipline. We work on a broad range of projects, so we’re interested to hear from people who are confident in researching unfamiliar areas, developing ideas, gathering insights and able to work under their own initiative.

What can we offer?

As a small team, you’ll be getting stuck into live briefs, on a wide range of projects. To hear more about our studio culture and the experience of our interns, you can read their intern reports at

We pay our interns dependent on relevant skills and experience. We are looking for someone who can commit to 4-5 days each week in the studio which is based in South London.

How to Apply

We would be interested in hearing from current students, graduates, and those with industry experience. If you feel you’ve got the right mix of skills and experience, please send a brief note about yourself and a short PDF portfolio or website link to: [email protected] by the 22nd February 2019.
