We’re looking for a digital designer to join the team. Ideally you'll have at least two years’ experience of working in a professional design environment. Salary will be based on experience.

The projects will all be web and app based and you’ll be involved from initial learning and research phases, through wireframing, design and delivery.

UI Design
We want someone to join who can create beautiful visuals and functional, well thought out interfaces. You’ll be able to design cutting edge visuals ready for a talented team to put together on complex and exciting projects.

User Research & Interviews
We emphasise a lot of value on learning from users and stakeholders before we commit to designing and building anything. We like our designers to host some or all of these interviews and feed their findings back to the team and into the project.

Workshops and Prototypes
We use workshops to stress-test ideas and to help clients with messaging problems. We involve our designers to help push ideas around and select the best solutions.

Front-end Development
As a team we cover a wide base of skills from design to front and back-end development. Ideally you’d have some knowledge of how websites are put together. If you’re able to code that would be a bonus, but far from essential.

About Lighthouse
Since being set up 10 years ago by a designer and a developer Lighthouse has grown into a highly adaptable and flexible team of talented people. We’re not huge but have a big mix of skills allowing us to take projects from concept through to design and development.

Starting out as a web design and development studio we’ve changed a little over the years. While we still work with clients to create awesome websites a large part of our business is now spent working with startups and enterprise clients to bring new digital products to market.
