The Fold is a trailblazing fashion brand founded on the belief that women should love the clothes they wear to work each day. The brand is known for indulgent, flattering pieces and is fast becoming the go-to for workwear and smart event dressing for today’s professional women. We are now at an exciting stage in the brand’s growth strategy with ambitious plans to propel our digital presence through stunning and intelligent design.

If you are excited about fashion and digital storytelling through innovative design, then we are looking for you! You will take conceptual lead from our Art Director and work with our Ecomm and Marketing teams in overhauling the creative for all our digital touch-points. You will be accountable for every feature you design with a hands on approach — from BAU emails, landing pages and content through to an exciting, extensive refresh of our website. You will help lead projects hands-on with an inquisitive and strategic approach, creating online experiences that are a true joy to use.

• Support the Art Director in driving the brand’s digital creative, from designing BAU online tasks with speed and precision to evolving all aspects of the brand website.
• Develop assets into rich, simple to use, commercial yet creative online experiences across multiple digital touch-points with a mobile first approach.
• Partnering with people across the business (marketing, ecomm, design, operations) to achieve business objectives.
• Be able to coherently communicate your vision for the UX through sketches, wireframes and clickable prototypes as well as finished designs.
• Prepare digital content for publishing.
• Ensure all digital design works coherently with the wider 360 'customer first' shopping experience.
• Aware of the current market and action on creative ideas that will keep The Fold digitally ahead of the competition.

• Understanding of HTML, CSS, Online Typography and Javascript and how this affects the design.
• Able to take on new ideas and direction with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Experienced in outputting content for multiple publishing platforms including file compression and delivery techniques for desktop and mobile.
• Time-manage short-term and long term projects, balancing quick-turnaround BAU briefs with longer, blue-sky projects.
• Understanding the sustainability and consequences of creative decisions.
• Be able to absorb large amounts of possibly conflicting information and use it to produce simple designs.
• Have a passion for digital culture and be responsive to changes in new trends and upcoming technology.
• Strong creative flair and high taste levels; attention to detail an absolute must.
• Fully Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Natural interest and knowledge in luxury graphic design / digital / fashion / editorial / art.
• Competent English, written and spoken.
• Wordpress, Video editing, motion or After Effects skills preferable but not essential.
