We are looking for an organised and motivated project manager to join Jody Hudson-Powell and Luke Powell’s team at Pentagram.

Team Hudson-Powell works across a range of disciplines; from graphic design to digital, motion, print and more strategic brand projects. The client roster includes startups, nonprofits, hospitality and larger tech companies, among others.

Joining a team of 9 individuals, you will be an integral member of the team. The role is hands-on; it requires ownership, a drive to take initiative and a can-do problem-solving approach.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in a similar position, with exposure to clients, meetings and management of teams, commercials and operational duties being an essential part of your day-to-day. A good knowledge and passion for design and production is a must with an ability to think strategically about a given project or new business.

Your responsibilities will include:

Day-to-day project management
– Working closely with clients, the partners and the team to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
– Managing resourcing, project planning and all communication with clients
– Writing scopes of work, creating timelines and budgets
– Managing financials of the business / partnership
– Identifying opportunities for growth with existing clients

New business
– Handling all new business communications
– Writing bespoke proposals and processes for clients
– Attending pitch meetings and being a key driver behind the process of winning work

Big picture
– Managing financial runnings of the team, tracking profitability, forecasts and invoicing
– Creating operational growth plans, setting clear targets and milestones for building and growing the team
– Establishing a culture within the team
– Create and oversee new business, ensuring a regular flow of new work
