About the role
We are looking for a talented and ambitious publications designer, someone who lives and breathes editorial design, to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about all aspects of print, publishing and design in general, bringing creative flair and a keen eye for detail to a range of projects.


Working closely with the editorial team you will be confident in taking multiple projects from layout conception and development, through meticulous art-working to print. You will be comfortable working to deadlines and dealing directly with clients and printers as part of a team, delivering high quality publications which consistently catch the eye.


With a minimum of 3+ years industry experience, we are looking for someone who is ready to take their next big challenge head-on. In return, you will get to work on publications covering some of sports biggest events and competitions.


Required Skills
• 3+ years’ design agency experience
• Fully capable in Creative Suite, particularly InDesign
• Good conceptual thinking, plenty of ideas and a high level of craft
• A keen eye for typography, understanding of the grid system (including baseline grids) and the preparation for print process
• Meticulous attention to detail, thorough art-working and impeccable housekeeping are all a must
• Commercial awareness and confidence in working to tight deadlines and directly with clients and printers
• A love for paper and format
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• An open and sociable personality is also essential. We are looking for a team player!
