One Rise East is a creative agency based in Walthamstow working across digital, print and environmental design. We specialise in strategic graphic design and bespoke event experiences for global brands in the advertising sector.

The Role

The design and visualisation of exhibition stands and brand environments, working closely with the with Creative Leads and the production team, you will take a briefs from concept to completion, effectively communicating your ideas with and the wider team and client.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

- Take briefs from concept through to completion, from small to large projects. Ensuringing you understand the client's requirements and the needs of the people using the space to develop design concepts.
- Generate creative and innovative ideas in response to briefs from clients.
- Effectively communicate your ideas from concept stage through to final design effectively and clearly.
- Create and be passionate about producing 3D visualisations for a range of spaces and environments.
- Understand and be able to work within budgeting resources and limitations.
- Consider creative alternatives of materials and suppliers in order to deliver a project on time and in budget whilst maintaining a high quality of design.
- Work with suppliers and source products, e.g. fittings, furniture, lighting, finishes, decoration and dressing.
- Produce accurate technical working drawings for construction.
- Be willing to travel globally to supervise event set up alongside the extended production and creative teams.
- Attend weekly project and creative team meetings to talk about work in progress and deliverables.
- Take part in studio-wide brainstorms and contribute to studio discussions.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, platforms, and programs.
- Hold ownership of small projects.

Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes

- 3+ years experience in a similar role or environment.
- Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and intermediate skills in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and google docs).
- An understanding of building works and production processes.
- Be able to work on creative alternatives in terms of materials and suppliers in order to deliver on a specific budget. Keeping the design quality.
- Outstanding eye for architecture and design.
- Ability to visualise and communicate design solutions in 2D and 3D - Hand sketching with advanced knowledge of AutoCAD & a 3D Software (3DS Max/ Sketchup Pro..)
- A natural collaborator and problem solver.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Great organisational, teamwork and time management skills.
- Have the ability to work in a team environment and individually.
- Eligible to work in the UK without permits.
