We are looking for a passionate Junior / Mid-weight Integrated Designer to join our creative team here at Inkling. We seek a designer who is hungry to learn and develop in a fast-paced agency. This role requires flexibility and collaboration while aiming to create great work that inspires our clients and colleagues.


The ideal candidate will come from an agency background and have 2-3 years of experience.


In terms of cultural fit you are self-motivated and have a positive energy about you with a passion for learning and growing as a designer. You remain calm under pressure and are able to work to tight deadlines, whilst being happy to support your team when needed.


You will be working on both digital and print based projects, ranging from branding projects to pitch documents, simple animations for content to large scale event graphics.


We need someone who will be able to work proactively under own initiative and as part of the wider team.
You will have gravitas and be able to work under your own initiative whilst effectively managing workloads and timescales.


EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


- A portfolio showcasing varied skillset and passion for design
- Must be proficient in the use of Adobe CC, mainly Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
- Background of working at a marketing agency (ideally)
- Proven understanding of core design principles
- Ability to own a project from ideation to artwork.
- Desire to continue learning and developing your skillset.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and enjoy working in a collaborative environment with creatives, client service suits, producers and other designers.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Good communication skills.
- Animation / Motion Graphics / Videography / Photography skills advantageous but not essential
- Passion – truly believes in the power of design and an ambition to create work people care about.
- Curiosity – of other people and the world around us.
