DESIGNER / ILLUSTRATOR / ARTWORKER
Sandbag is one of the leading independent music merchandise companies providing custom made product, ecommerce solutions, ticketing and tour support to the music industry globally, with offices in both the UK and US.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast paced, growing organisation working in a friendly and creative team environment.
We require a designer to work within our small creative team to supply design and product ideas for the entertainment industry, primarily in the music sector.
The Role:
Providing original design often in a very short timeframe for clients.
Liaison directly with management, artists and designers to translate creative ideas into reality.
Able to translate supplied and original design into appropriate product for individual clients demographic.
Ability to incorporate latest fashion trends, colours and styles in client product ranges.
Maintaining a database of current and historical art for use throughout the business
Supplying art to printers, embroiderers and manufacturers in various formats
Mock up template driven store fronts
Photograph product images for use on e-commerce stores and for use in retail
Keeping record of time spent on jobs for billing purposes


Skills:


Keen interest in music and fashion


skilled in photoshop / illustrator


experience in creating artwork for print and an understanding of screen printing process


confident photographic skills


degree level education in art / design


excellent communication skills


confident working independently and part of a team


Idea generation and development


Excellent time management skills - comfortable in a fast paced environment and able to juggle multiple projects


Confident meeting with clients
