Duties and responsibilities:

Gather client requirements, scope features, and create technical specifications.
Provide support and guidance to more junior developers.
Communicate with and support clients on the phone, via JIRA/email, and in person when required.
Produce elegant, concise solutions to complex technical problems and specifications.
Effectively communicate with team leaders and managers.
Work on both end-to-end eCommerce projects (currently Magento 2, Shopware, and Shopify), as well as provide day-to-day client support in the form of new feature development, bug fixing, and consultation.
Proactively offer solutions to complex technical problems.
Undertake peer reviews and provide feedback on work produced by other development team members.
Evaluate and recommend security and PCI compliance related changes.
Configure and maintain web hosting environments.


PHP 5+ years commercial experience.
MySQL 5+ years commercial experience.
JavaScript 5+ years commercial experience.
Excellent understanding of internet technologies and topologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and XML.
Experience with modern source control and deployment techniques and software.
Experience working in the Linux environment.
Experience working with online project management tools such as JIRA.
Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
Strong initiative, commitment, and a positive, "whatever it takes” attitude.
A meticulous eye for detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
