Account Manager Role
Who we are
We are an independent creative agency with an impressive award-winning portfolio of projects, looking for an Account Manager to join our team of 6 creatives based in Whitechapel.

The Role
The overall purpose of the role of Account Manager is to take responsibility for effective management of client projects, ensuring all projects are run to their full potential and are delivered ‘on time and on budget’. This is a key role within a very close and creative team, it would suit someone proactive and quick to spot opportunities, who would be happy multitasking and managing the studio’s brand and design projects. An interest in design and branding would be great, and digital experience would be a bonus !

Your experience
We would like someone who has experience running branding and design projects from the brief to final approval, who is comfortable being client facing and presenting to client and internal teams. Good communication, writing and financial skills are a must, as well as the skills and diplomacy to manage clients and the studio team. It’s a lovely place to work, with great perks.

We are a small team and all get involved in how the agency runs, so encourage bright ideas and people getting involved.

Experience in the following is a requirement
- Proposal writing / brief writing / project planning for branding and design projects
- Scheduling, resourcing and studio management
- Finance, estimating, negotiating and invoicing and managing supplier invoicing
- Marketing and social media for the agency (with the rest of the team)
- People management skills / Organisational skills / Writing skills / Communication skills
- Comfortable using Word, Excel, Google sheets. InDesign is a bonus.

Key Accountabilities:

Project Management
- Work with the team to provide shape and direction to how each project is to be accomplished.
- At pre-design stage, work in partnership with client and colleagues to agree the brief and prepare client estimates for each specific stage of the work.
- Produce a project plan, ensure that each stage of the project has been signed off, internally and externally before final delivery to the client or agents of the client.
- Manage the project plan on a daily basis and be proactive in identifying any likely problems in terms of delivery or quality.
- Work in collaboration with the designers to deliver the creative stages of the project to agreed deadlines.
- Ensure that billings are completed as soon as possible after the agreed stages of project delivery, appropriate to the terms of the client contract.
- Deliver client briefs, client estimates and contact reports to the required company standards.
- Ensure that all costs associated with the project are correctly billed and are maintained with in the agreed budgets.

- Ensure all client billing, job management and revenue recognition procedures are carried out according to Company policy and to set deadlines.
- Ad hoc office management duties

Client Direction
- Build effective relationships with clients by acting as an advisor or sounding board for ideas and concerns on elements of the project and talk through the consequences of their options.
- Contribute to revenue generation by identifying opportunities for client development and discussing these with the Creative Director
- Ensure the client is at the centre of everything we do and that at all times the project is focused on delivering to the needs of the client.
