We are looking for a Junior Designer to join our growing design team here at Goodstuff. We work across a range of exciting internal and client specific briefs; shooting exploding tubs of ice cream one day to creating posters and animations for industry events the next. This is a perfect role for anyone hoping to get stuck into a wide range of exciting projects and flex their creativity.

The role is fast-paced and varied with lots of opportunity to gain valuable experience across all aspects of content production and brand guardianship, from post conception through to completion. You will be supporting the Design Manager on shoots, with art direction, styling, photo editing, story boarding, mock creation and retouching. Your responsibilities will also include motion graphics, video editing and internal creative branding across book and print, as well as environmental graphics.

Haters of ice cream need not apply.

The successful candidate will:
• Be energetic, determined and personable
• Possess a passion for all things design, photography and film.
• Be naturally curious with a desire to learn new things
• Be a good team player who is able to work with a variety of people
• Demonstrate good organisational skills and a strong attention to detail
• Have an ability to think around problems and get to inventive solutions
• Have an excellent working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
• Demonstrate excellent photography and video editing skills
• A good working knowledge of Microsoft office, in particular, PowerPoint is essential

Being such a diverse role, we are looking for someone who can be flexible and accommodating but is willing to give there all to the task at hand.

More often than not, we have to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines, so someone that is calm and collected whilst working at pace is a must. Importantly being part of this fast-paced team, you’ll need to be something of a self-starter and able to take responsibility for your own workload.

This role is initially for 3 months with the ambition to convert it to a permanent position, so we're looking for a candidate who is open to a long term role as opposed to a freelance position. We’re ideally looking for candidates with a minimum of 1 years' design experience and a design related qualification would be a bonus.
