Banjo Robinson is a seed stage startup on a mission to make writing fun for kids.

Banjo is a magical, globetrotting cat who sends real, personalised letters and stories to children, twice a month, from exciting destinations like the Taj Mahal, the Great Wall of China, Indonesia and Iceland. The idea is that it’s a little bit like writing to Father Christmas, except all year round. Parents and children read the letters together and follow along with Banjo’s adventures on a world map poster which Banjo provides. Children draw a picture or write back to Banjo using the stationery and stickers provided, and leave their replies under the sofa for overnight collection by Cat Mail. Letters are personalised with details about each child’s interests – their favourite food, hobbies etc., and parents can add to the magic by helping us compose a PS message for the next letter, which answers any questions their child might have asked.

We are seeking an experienced rock-star Senior Designer / Creative Director. The winning candidate will have an outstanding portfolio and will be a key player in the formation and development of Banjo Robinson’s competitive brand positioning in the marketplace.
