As Client Executive, you play a pivotal role in implementing best-in-class Client Services at Portas. You will be responsible for supporting client relationships and delivery of projects, as well as the overall support of the Client Services team. You will work closely with your team and the wider agency to help us achieve our agency ambition to be the best consultancy and agency for retailers in the world.


The successful candidate would ideally have had 1 years’ experience in a similar client facing role, with an active interest in the retail, lifestyle and beauty space.


REPORTING LINES


You report to the Client Managers and may at times assist in managing interns.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES COVER FIVE BROAD AREAS


Account Management
• Support the Account Manager/Account Director in the preparation of all account management documentation; agendas, WIPs, CPAs, etc.
• Ensure you work with your Client Manager on delivering all account management documents to client quickly and efficiently
• Ensure you build a good relationship with your client counterpart so that they rely on you and see you as a good point of contact
• Take responsibility for ensuring the team has set up the meeting room well ahead of client meetings
• Manage internal agency relationships in order to get things done in the most time and cost-efficient way for your client
• Support the team with any required travel arrangements
• Be responsible for competitive reviews as and when required (including collation of competitive material)
• Be responsible for preparing meeting materials / producing mood films & boards as required
• Be responsible for organising events for the team or for the clients


Finance
• Attend WIP meetings with your Client Manager in order to fully understand the working process of the agency finances
• Ensure all financial documents are filed appropriately – either hard or soft copies – so that they are easy to find for reference


Strategy
• Provide support for your planner and always think proactively about you can do to help the planning process


Creativity
• Help with the preparation of creative stimulus prior to creative briefings
• Take responsibility for ensuring the meeting rooms for creative presentations are dressed appropriately – aim to be on the front foot of suggesting ideas to your team
• Ensure you actively helping the team build presentations – from formatting to delivery
• Help your Client Manager with creative briefings – ensuring everything is correct and present and teams have all the stimulus they may need.


People
• Work with your Client Manager to ensure the day to day running of the account is seamless and buttoned down.
• Manage up to your Client Manager to ensure they are kept informed on your progress with jobs on the account
• New joiner responsibilities including meet and greet as well as planning of inductions etc
