ABOUT YOU


As a Marketing Executive at Breed you will work closely with our Founder to introduce and develop new clients and contacts, as well as liaising with existing ones. You will be responsible for creating engaging content for our website, social media, and talent marketing, managing our social media pages and implementing our communication strategy.


You will be passionate about, and have a thorough and up to date understanding of, the creative industry and the inspirational graphic designers, photographers, illustrators and animators that work within it. You will be confident in working independently and making informed decisions whilst being quick to react to opportunities that should be published on our social media pages.


Please note that as this is a part time role and predominantly an office marketing role. It is not suitable for Artists or Illustrators.


WHAT YOU’RE HERE TO DO


Key responsibilities include:


Marketing
• Research new business contacts and opportunities.
• Work to specific marketing territories and areas where outlined.
• Organise and secure meetings and manage the diaries for both the Founder and for the Talent.
• Manage and update the contacts/database.
• Manage and update the agency portfolio.
• Work on reports to ensure they meet clear objectives, and conduct regular reporting to help inform decision making.


Content & Social Media
• Create content for all social channels and the website.
• Grow audiences organically and increase engagement.
• Analyse and monitor all social channels and make informed decisions based on these insights.
• Picture the research where needed, create assets and images and determine the format for Breed website and social pages.
• Organise takeovers and build social brand relationships by contacting potential creatives and contacts to collaborate with on social media.
• Work alongside the Founder to help create a suitable tone for our social media communications ensuring strong grammar and language.
• Assist the Founder in generating ideas and creating blog posts as well as developing and creating own ideas.
• Create monthly newsletters which include the marketing news and client, development, and finance updates across all locations.
• Schedule all social media posts, manage our LinkedIn and Twitter accounts and the personal LinkedIn profiles of specific senior members of staff.
• Create new engaging content for artists and clients.


Digital & Insight
• Develop a sound understanding of Google Analytics and how to draw insight and value from its data by using systems such as Hootsuite.
• Create accurate reports that measure the reach and engagement of our social media activity.
• Understand the positive impact that SEO can have on performance and capitalise on this.


Team Relations
• Develop and maintain close working relationships with all employees within our small team.
• Support the Founder with ad hoc projects and requests, such as attending events and exhibitions.
Undertake any other task deemed to be appropriate to this role, as directed by the Founder.


WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW


The Marketing Executive is expected to have the following skills and qualifications:


ESSENTIAL
• Demonstrable interest in Marketing or Advertising.
• Excellent creative, writing, and communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Proven experience in using all social media platforms and confident in using them effectively.
• Confident in working independently and making quick decisions autonomously.


DESIRED
• Degree in Marketing or a related field such as Communications, Psychology, or Business.
• Solid understanding of marketing technology and software (Photoshop, Google Analytics).
