Job Added: 25 April 2019
Applications Close: 25 May 2019
Level: Junior
Contract: Full Time
Based: London
Salary: £16,000 to £18,000

Interactive Workshops (IW) is a fast-paced, rapidly-growing L&D agency based in Chiswick, West London, partnering with a global client base that includes Airbus, BMW, Red Bull, MINI, Savills and Schindler. We specialise in the design and delivery of business-focused workshops. Our workshops are dynamic working and learning experiences, tailored to the needs of the client.

To help the agency cater to the needs of their ever-growing roster of clients, IW needs a Junior Graphic Designer who can work within our design team to produce both digital and printed material.

Here’s the detail:

Graphic Design
Interactive Workshops is looking for a bright, energetic and creative all-rounder who will easily integrate into our IW Studio within our wider team.

Applicants should ensure that they:

// Are confident with the Adobe package; InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
// Have experience designing corporate posters, flyers and magazines
// Are ready to design in whatever format fits the brief – stickers, magnets, board games, etc.
// Are a master of typography, alignment and the grid
// Can create attractive and accurate PowerPoint presentations, sometimes using commercial templates
// Can design materials with creative flair whilst also following the commercial brand guidelines of an organisation

It would be advantageous if they:

// Are familiar with Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro and can animate and create motion graphics
// Can assist in the filming, basic editing and post-production of films that we produce
// Can actively contribute to the content of marketing materials (and post them on our website, on LinkedIn and on other forums)
// Have good illustrative ability
// Can write engaging, accurate copy with correct spelling and grammar

That’s the nuts and bolts of a Junior Graphic Designer’s primary focus. However, Interactive Workshops are looking for more. An applicant’s skills should not stop there...

Communication and organisation
Great interpersonal skills and being easy to work with are a must in this agency, therefore applicants should ensure that they:

// Have excellent communication and organisation skills
// Are proactive self-managers
// Are excited about corporate marketing and skilled in creating commercial marketing materials
// Can manage their time effectively, paying attention to detail whilst meeting deadlines and providing reliable time estimations
// Conduct themselves in a professional manner, thinking strategically about the tasks they are leading through to completion
// Are proactive and helpful, willing to give things a go and always thinking about the end user (i.e. fellow colleagues and the client)
