Studio Manager A fantastic opportunity to become the pivotal member of this well-established, international design business. This company is a brand strategy and design business who work with consumer facing brands. They are independent, mid-sized, and are led by some incredibly clever people. As Studio Manager in here, you’ll sit in the midst of it all and ensure smooth effective running of the design studio. You’ll be responsible for the planning and day-to-day global workflow management in partnership with department heads, to focus on improving the quality and delivery of work. You’ll also get to know everyone’s special talents too (and they are a lovely team)! Responsibilities include; - Manage the resource forecast and schedules to keep the studio running effectively - Work in close partnership with department heads, to plan and prioritise - Source materials, keep the studio in order and stay on top of stationery needs - Work with IT to ensure that desks and computers are available for staff and freelancers - Take pride in the appearance of the studio, making sure it’s presentable and functional - Manage various weekly resource catch ups, and workflow review meetings - Build relationships with freelancers to create a diverse pool of talent - Raise POs for all freelance and other third party resource - Greet and introduce new freelancers to the studio - Manage studio holiday, sickness Skills, experience & attributes sought; - Experienced in studio assisting or managing a mid to large creative/design team - Sharp organisation skills, naturally juggling multiple tasks at any one time - Excellent communication skills; to listen, persuade, lead, and negotiate - Be accessible and accountable for the studios wellbeing and productivity - Be proactive and forward thinking, reading situations quickly, averting pit falls - Have an open outlook and remain level headed.
