We are currently looking for a Senior Designer to join our multidisciplinary in-house brand team. Someone who is inspired by design, music and film. This person will be proactive and full of ideas to assist shaping and pushing our brand. As a creative at heart, you will push boundaries without compromising your sense of design integrity when faced with fast paced challenging projects. If you are passionate about music, recording, festivals, and being backstage with up and coming bands and DJs, we want you. We have studios across the UK as well as in the US and Germany. Pirate Studios believes it is everyone’s right to have around the clock access to high quality music equipment in our revolutionary new 24/7 rehearsal studios, so that live music can continue to expand worldwide.

The role we are offering would suit a senior level integrated designer with a minimum of 5 years’ experience ideally with a range of skills covering both digital and print, and a desire to expand their knowledge of film and moving image.

About the job:
You would be our Senior Designer reporting to the Creative director.

You would be expected to lead and oversee an array of design projects from branding to marketing using digital, print and moving image. This work would also include writing creative briefs and seeing final projects through to a timely Completion.

Organisation and managing own time is essential.

As we expand as a team, you would be involved in hiring a junior designer to support you.

You will work with both brand, marketing and digital teams to ensure creative output is of high calibre, maintains brand guidelines for all channels, and meets social media platform guidelines.
You would be expected to build relationships with Heads of Departments and help them when devising creative briefs for your work.

• Good InDesign skills, be able to use character/paragraph styles • Signage

Skills/Interests candidates are expected to have: • Adobe Suite (PSD, AI, ID, AE/PR)
• Sketch (for UX & UI design)
• Editorial voice/style (basic understanding)
• Print/Press prep & technique
• Video production/editing/animation (basic understanding) • Appreciation for music and music culture
• Strong interest in photography
• Asset/archive management
