The Full Service is the brand strategy & creative services arm of the Rankin Group.

We’re looking for an Insights Intern to join the fast paced and fun The Full Service team.


The Internship is for 6 months, full-time 5 days per week, and paid at national living wage.

Job Purpose


• To inform & inspire the agency with the latest innovations, insights and trends
• Support the Insight & Strategy Manager with research for ongoing projects, pitches for clients, internal creative teams & new business


Job Responsibilities


Inspire Strategic & Creative Thinking


• Stay up to date with industry, cultural & consumer trends and innovations and share these with the internal teams regularly.
• Research a wide range of categories in the premium & luxury sectors - fashion, beauty, automotive etc.


Conduct Research


• Assist the Insights & Strategy Manager with competitor overviews & brand reviews to inspire strategic & creative thinking to keep the team knowledgeable & ahead of the game in a fast paced environment
• Brand Audits will include all marketing touchpoints from print, film, TV and social channel communications
• Research into specific themes or interests for pitches and current clients as needed
• Store visits and interviews wherever needed
• Often assisting on special projects for Rankin &/or The Hunger team


Create Presentations


• Help the insights & strategy manager build presentations for internal inspiration and client projects


Manage & Share


• Help other team members locate relevant reports & articles for their projects
• Share ongoing inspiration & trends regularly in the form of presentations, news letters & group mail


Organisation


• Assist in day to day admin and any other task required by the Insights & Strategy Manager as needed


Experience and Skills Required


• Previous experience in an insights or research role within an advertising or trend forecasting or media agency
• Some knowledge or experience using research tools such as; Stylus, WGSN, L:SN, Mintel, Ebiquity, Google Analytics, Similar Web
• Articulate writer and confident presenter
• Research and analysis skills
• Able to juggle multiple, fluid deadlines
• Passion for trends, culture and consumer behaviour within brands, creative & advertising
• Ability to multi-task and to be adaptable
• Excellent Keynote Skills
• InDesign Skills would be an added bonus
