Detail London, specialising in recruitment for Fashion, Beauty & Lifestyle PR and Communications, has a brilliant opportunity now available for a highly motivated Junior Digital Marketing Manager/Marketing Manager (title dependent upon experience) to join our client, a leading London based fashion, beauty and lifestyle communications consultancy.

Our client is a global creative brand communications agency with offices in London, New York and Los Angeles who lead the conversations and bring ideas to life. They have worked with some of the world’s iconic fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands for over 30 years.

The role:

  • Support the Digital Director in the development of Digital Strategy for the agency and their clients
  • Manage a wide range of tasks with respect to creative and editorial deliverables in the digital/social space on a daily basis
  • Deliver integrated strategy for the agency and clients working closely with the communications teams on integrated activities; including social, content, influencer marketing and digital marketing
  • Develop creative digital ideas for clients and continue to develop knowledge of new technologies and innovations across earned, owned and paid media
  • Support the Digital Director in defining and delivering the agency’s social media strategy to develop a high quality and responsive community
  • Ensure the agency has have strong relationships with digital influencers across fashion, beauty and lifestyle and deploy appropriate and effective outreach methods
  • Work with the PR teams to inspire understanding of digital integration and digital solutions

Accountabilities:

  • Social Media Management: Responsible for the development, day-to-day channel management, content creation, reporting and analytics on company website and social channels including amplifying the social media presence, growing audiences and increasing engagement whilst executing multi-channel strategies across a variety of social platforms
  • Encourage staff engagement with the company website and social media channels
    Work with the Digital Director to train staff regularly on digital service and digital industry developments planning internal training and knowledge sharing workshops
    Outline and deliver digital campaigns and social media programmes throughout their life cycle for clients ensuring integration with all wider PR & Communications activity
  • Demonstrate the results and effectiveness of digital activity to clients through meaningful metrics including impactful case study and reporting documents
    Research and implement new platforms and tools to drive digital innovation for the agency and clients
  • Co-ordinate third party agencies in the delivery of digital marketing activations including: Affiliate Marketing, SEM (Organic Search, PPC, Paid Media, Display Advertising, Social Media Advertising)
  • Work with the Digital Director to prepare digital pitches including creative ideas, channel specific ideas, integrated strategy, costs and anticipated ROI
  • Conduct social listening exercises and reports to inform creative briefs and collaborates with internal teams through the content creation process to ensure alignment with the strategic direction
  • Employ a variety of research techniques to understand and analyse online data and provide insight about relevant online conversations and voices in those conversations
  • Manage the production of performance reports and analytical reviews, providing insight and recommendations
  • Conduct regular research into digital & social trends, identifying new opportunities to adapt and optimise the agency’s service offering & internal development

Content:

  • Deliver highly engaging content for the agency and clients that commands interaction and conversation (including company creds documents)
  • Contribute positively to the profile and growth of the creative team through supporting and creating new business decks and material
  • Liaise with creative partners to develop necessary social assets and ensure delivery
    Strong skills in Adobe CS Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
    Leveraging advocacy opportunities with timely & engaging content
    Being the vital quality check and brand guardian, ensure that everything they do is in line with company brand values
    Conduct regular research into digital & content trends to identify new opportunities for the agency and clients

Influencer:

  • Build the continued development of the agency’s Influencer Network / Seeding Channels
  • Maintain up to date contact information for key talent agencies, and influencers across Fashion, Beauty and Lifestyle
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of fee structures for influencer activations
    Regularly identifying fresh, new talent while supporting, managing and maintaining ongoing relationships.
  • An understanding of interpreting client briefs, building budgets, managing deadlines and client expectations
  • Execute and project manage paid influencer activations across client portfolio
    Conduct regular research and reading to identify new potential opportunities and ideas for current clients and new business
  • Build relationships with wider agency brand teams to ensure integrated approach
  • Results driven – always driving tangible results for clients

    About you:
  • Experienced in executing paid Influencer campaigns
  • Strong understanding of Social Media and content creation
  • Ability to handle budgets of all sizes and knows how to negotiate to maximise smaller budgets
  • Creative in approach
  • Has good knowledge of the industry and has a keen thirst for knowledge and learning
  • Has good ideas
  • Has strong knowledge of Influencers in the UK market across fashion beauty and lifestyle
