We are looking to hire a capable and experienced Product Designer to join our growing London team.

Who we are

TalentPool is a machine learning-powered talent matching platform on a mission to change the way that companies find talent and people find jobs. We currently match candidates in the early-stage of their career to roles at UK start-ups and small businesses based on their personality, experience and preferences. Over 90,000 candidates and 1,000 companies have used the platform, including Monzo, Beauhurst, Deliveroo, iwoca and Hiscox.

Having just closed a Series A round we have ambitious plans to bring our platform to new areas beginning with the public sector having been selected to be part of a national framework to bring innovation to local government - it’s an exciting time to join!

We’re based in a WeWork co-working space in Shoreditch that includes free barista coffee, yoga, boxing lessons, and beer and prosecco on tap!

What you’ll be doing

  • Be involved at all stages of the design process, from brainstorming, wireframing, prototyping through to completion

  • Develop the TalentPool brand identity by creating a consistent and distinctive brand ‘language’ across all media

  • Design user interfaces across devices, working with the software development team to bring new product features to life

  • Support the marketing team in creating advertising graphics for digital channels and other marketing collateral

What you should have

  • A passion for design of all kinds, with a grounding in the fundamentals of typography, layout, colour, composition etc.

  • Strong knowledge of UI/UX design and a desire to create delightful experiences for users through design

  • A portfolio demonstrating a variety of design work

  • Ability to design UI mockups in Sketch/Illustrator or similar design tools

  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to take ideas and concepts from the rest of the team and turn them into highly polished designs

Bonus points

  • Ability to create illustrations, icons and other graphics

  • Experience with motion or information design in any form

  • A basic understanding of HTML/CSS

What we offer

  • Competitive salary, regular compensation reviews and equity

  • A fun, friendly and ambitious group, with a variety of backgrounds and experiences

  • Plenty of scope for development and room to grow within the company

  • An active social calendar with frequent team meals and monthly socials, from go-karting to pizza making to axe throwing!

  • Tuesday team breakfasts and Thursday drinks with the other teams in our co-working space.

  • Employee discount/benefits package, on-site bike storage and showers

  • Whatever hardware or software (within reason!) you need to be productive

This role is based in our London office. Unfortunately, we are unable to sponsor visas so candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
