We are looking for a social media intern to join our fast growing team in assisting all things social media. This is an exciting position for someone who loves to spend time on Instagram, Twitter and Reddit and wants to learn how to grow the audience of a young media company.


Key responsibilities:


1. Working across all social media platforms Screen Shot uses
2. Engaging with Screen Shot’s followers
3. Assisting the development of the comms plan
4. Spending considerable time on Reddit, Quora and Hacker News to both engage with users and understand trends from the ground up
5. Scheduling posts on social media through Hootsuite and other tools Screen Shot users


Key skills:


1. Excellent writing abilities
2. Social media savvy
3. Keen interest in media, journalism and content strategy
5. Ability to write fast and understand editorial planning


Further information:


1. 3 days a week in our Dalston office for 3 months
2. You will get perks such as attending events and getting to know figures in the industry
