The Role

Conductor is looking for an experienced freelance Social Media Manager with proven experience in delivering social media campaigns. The position is charged with developing and executing best in class social media campaigns for Conductor’s clients, which include leading brands and start-ups from the cycling world.

You will have a proven track record of growing online communities. You will also have experience of using analytics to evaluate performance and optimise strategy, with social engagement, amplification and growth as the key measures of success.

You will have a keen interest and knowledge of sport, in particular cycling.

Key Responsibilities

Manage, moderate, develop and curate our clients’ social platforms.

Produce content for our clients’ social media feeds, both independently and in collaboration with the wider studio. Content will include, but not be limited to, copy, branded posts, film, Instagram stories, interviews and competitions.

Create and execute exciting and innovative social strategies for clients whilst ensuring content and channel output is optimised.

Ensure that all content is of the highest possible standard and adheres to clients’ brand requirements

Provide clear communication plans for review on a weekly basis and scheduling of approved plans on key channels.

Analyse data and present reports in a simple and effective manner.

Keep abreast of industry best practice and insights, identifying new social media trends, developments and channels that might affect Conductor and/or our clients.

Skillset

An active knowledge of and passion for social media and trends within cycling and active lifestyles.

Ability to work with a broad range and level of people; to share and convey updates, ideas and vision with clarity and tailored to the audience.

Education & Experience

Ideally graduate level with a degree in marketing/PR.

Proven experience in social media and digital channel management within the music industry.

Understanding of evolving technology and the ability to research new opportunities.

Proven experience of delivering social media campaigns based on audience insight.

Proven experience reviewing and analysing data to provide insight and deliver strategies.
