Bow & Arrow is a growth consultancy that work with game changing leaders in some of the worlds biggest businesses. We are a team of 50 highly driven individuals with a passion for creating new propositions, products and services which launch in market with impact.

This is an exciting opportunity to help us create a game-changing new digital product at the implementation phase of our biggest project for a financial services startup. You will have the chance to work on a wide range of outputs in the lead up to launch, from user experience to visual identity, prototyping, UI, digital design and data visualisation. The team you join will be a blend of client, third party partners and Bow & Arrow-ers dedicated to this project only, based in a co-working space in Old Street.

Designers at Bow & Arrow collaborate across disciplines on a daily basis, working with strategists and developers to create high-impact work for clients and customers. Our designers are highly strategic, detail-oriented, and T-shaped individuals, working seamlessly across visual design, user experience, user interface design, branding and even coding within multiple sectors and industries. We believe in prototyping early and often. Our focus is on the end-user and we test and iterate designs with customers.

Our tech partner is hands on and you’ll work directly with them - there’s no middle management here and you will have direct access to the client. You’ll also work closely with Product Owners, Strategists, and Developers to create original digital products that redefine an industry and reshape the company’s future.

No agencies please.

Your role will be to:

- Help define, co-create and launch a new digital product for web and iOS
- Stay 100% focused on making great digital products - that’s all we care about
- Work iteratively and collaborate with the team on initial concepts, user flows, visual design, testing, and prototypes
- Attention to detail and care for design execution, from concept through delivery
- Use prototyping tools to convey movement and functionality of concepts.
- Understand and (where appropriate) challenge business requirements to champion user needs, as a way to further promote product and market strategy.

We’re looking for:

- Experience working in a highly iterative, collaborative environment where people share work daily
- A strong background, with 3-5 years of visual design experience, at least some in an agency environment. You should be able to work seamlessly in Sketch, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Strong familiarity with prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch + Craft plug-in, Framer etc.)
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills — as well as the confidence and ability to communicate your ideas clearly
- A solid understanding of designing intuitive site functionality, interaction, site architecture, user interface, and navigation. You know a product needs more than just a pretty face
- Ability and desire to solve complex product design problems and the strategy skills to deliver best-in-class solutions
- Impeccable execution and care for all aspects of design, from conceptual thinking to motion and visual design
- Demonstrated ability to synthesise and present findings, and articulate design rationale
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- A great attitude and a lack of ego. Bow & Arrow works hard to keep our work zone primadonna-free
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
