Storm Creative are looking for a determined, enthusiastic and passionate Back-End developer to build solid PHP websites, delivering projects with speed and accuracy.

About the Role:
Working alongside Front-End Developers and Designers, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive programming solutions for a variety of web based projects. As a full-service agency, projects at Storm are always different, but based on a Laravel framework, which provides an effective dynamic workflow that makes each day interesting.

We value forward thinking and the ability to learn new things quickly, meet deadlines and build solid and robust solutions, all with a genuine enthusiasm for the technology and task at hand.

The ideal candidate has proven experience developing CMS-driven websites, is database savvy and is comfortable working with third-party APIs. From a process perspective, we’d expect you to have a broad range of experience in development techniques and be comfortable working with GIT.

- Back End Developer PHP minimum of 1 year
- Expert in PHP and MySQL skills
- Laravel experience
- JavaScript skills - preferably with jQuery vue.js
- Comfortable working with APIs
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong troubleshooting skills
- Satisfied in a growth environment (we're award-winners and growing - currently at 27 team members)

- To provide input and technical knowledge for website development and specifications.
- To develop the Back-End of websites alongside Front-End to logically deliver fast, proficient and secure websites.
- To integrate third-party API’s (Google, Facebook, EPOS Systems and Payment Gateways) where required.
- To develop and maintain the internal CMS and framework used for powering the content of client websites.

Bonus points for:
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT and command line.
- Understanding of LAMP stack and other server side requirements.
