Due to continued growth, Storm are looking for someone to join our social media/content team to produce engaging, imaginative and creative artwork and videos for use across a variety of digital/social channels.

Producing video content for use on social media, YouTube and digital channels will be a huge part of your role, ranging from hour-long round-table discussion pieces and 30-minute in-depth product explainer videos, through to 30-second Facebook adverts and even 2-second looped clips. You will be required to film some of the content yourself and/or use content provided by others or purchased from libraries. Using industry standard software, you will be comfortable crafting assets of varying lengths and styles, depending on the target audience and broadcast channels.

Some filming may be required on-site at client locations, so your own transport would be a bonus, but not essential. Use of your own video equipment would be welcomed, although we can supply all of the tools required for you to produce high quality content.

Another key part of your role will be to create images for use on social media posts, social media advertising campaigns and website articles/blogs, so you’ll need to be at home using industry standard artwork software. The complexity of the images will range from cropping existing photographs, through to creating memes and infographics from scratch. Creativity, attention to detail and a great eye for aesthetically pleasing visuals will therefore be key in this role.

Some work will need to be produced within strict brand guidelines, while others will give you the freedom to let your creativity run free, although everything we produce is for a strategic purpose and must be produced to a high standard. While a large amount of creativity will be required to develop interesting ideas and conjure up content from scratch, you will still need to be suitably commercially-minded to understand that we’re creating content for clients who value their brands and are looking for a return on their investment.

We’re proud to be innovators at the top of our game, so a natural interest in all things digital and a desire to try new ideas is expected, to ensure the content you produce is interesting and relevant.

Key Accountabilities:
- Fast-paced delivery of high-quality, engaging content, produced on the right platforms at the right time – whether owned, earned or paid for.
- Communicating with businesses and suppliers to gather information and generate content.
- An eye for evaluating content performance, to continually identify and build upon elements that will work well.
- Collaborating with teams across the agency to create media plans and content schedules.
- Integration of content into the rest of our client’s communications and marketing campaigns.
-Willingness to suggest new ideas and develop new ways of storytelling in a digital environment.

Key Attributes:
- You will be collaborative, confident, thoughtful and authoritative, maintaining sound judgement even under pressure.
- You will keep up to date on the rapidly changing nature of communications and how to put that to good use, especially in the realms of digital and social media.

While direct experience within a commercial environment isn’t a prerequisite for this role, it is absolutely essential that you’re able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the commercial use and impact of your work. We have no interest in producing low quality content or items that aren’t able to effectively communicate our client’s messages/brands.

A demonstrable keen interest in digital content is expected. If you love digital media we expect to see you following key accounts and already producing your own content that shows off your passion and skills.

Your salary will be competitive and based upon your skill-set.
