Snook are on a mission to design a world that works better for people. We work with organisations to design services that help people thrive, and this year we’ll be ten years old! In the past five years we’ve more than doubled in size to a team approaching 30 people and have worked with brilliant clients — from Cancer Research UK to Hackney City Council, Tesco and the Scottish Government.

We have big plans for the next three years and are seeking someone who is passionate about what we do, is highly organised, skilled at multitasking and is a collaborative worker. You’ll be taking on a high profile role, supporting our CEO/Co-Founder and also our London Studio.

The role:

Personal Assistant:

- Managing our CEO’s diary, prioritising inbox and email correspondence
- Schedule meetings and event appearances
- Booking travel and accommodation
- Processing expenses

Administrative support:

- HR admin, including recruitment, on-boarding of new staff, training or arranging training where necessary
- Supporting the maintenance of Snook’s electronic filing system
- Supporting with project set up and close down

General team support:

- General office management such as coordinating supplies, travel, tidying and recycling
- Booking meeting rooms and lunches, filing and arranging team events
- Delivering event celebrations like birthdays and anniversaries
- Supporting the team with the preparation, set-up, running and closing of events.
- Helping to create a welcoming studio environment

Facilities management:

- Studio health and safety
- Supporting the studio environment and ensuring it is fit for purpose
- Solve simple tech problems and escalate to tech team where appropriate
- Liaising with building management

Our requirements:

- Demonstrable experience in a similar sort of role
- Self-starter with a positive attitude to getting things done
- Excellent ability to prioritise and pre-empt requirements
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Ability to problem-solve and multitask
- Great attention to detail, along with the ability to work at speed and to tight deadlines
- Flexibility
- Eagerness to help and learn new things
- Enjoys supporting others

Most importantly, you’ll be looking to join a lovely team and to support us in delivering great design work. Definite bonus points include an appreciation for gifs and bad puns.
