We’re working with a market-leading high street global retail brand to help them find a top-class Design Lead, responsible for rejuvenating the brand’s purpose and global identity. They are looking to get on board an experienced conceptual designer, possessing strong digital skills and the ability to lead a team. You will be bringing the global brand strategy and positioning to life and effectively communicate this in a coherent, disruptive and distinctive way across all 360 consumer touch points. Leading 360 omnichannel consumer campaigns and assets across touch-points and platforms. Experience of working with large retail clients is a huge bonus. The ideal candidate will be a natural communicator, comfortable both directing and being hands-on, always ready to take on challenging briefs, thinking in creative and new ways. You will be conceptualising, designing, art directing creative projects, directing a creative team, liaising with the Head of Creative and key stakeholders, or leading and partnering up with the core digital team, the packaging lead, as well as external agencies. Essential requirements: • A demonstrable history of delivering high-quality consumer campaigns from end to end • Proven experience working in a Senior Design role; working cross-functionally within a fast-paced environment • Experience delivering strong levels of success through design-led propositions that match corporate objectives • Strong art directional skills and proven photo shoot experience essential • Significant experience leading, developing and nurturing creative projects and a team of designers • Ability to present ideas, while influencing and managing stakeholders • A channel-agnostic approach but strong digital experience and knowledge of packaging design • Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire those around you • A willingness to get stuck in and be hands-on • The ability to keep calm and think rationally under pressure, and react quickly and efficiently to changes in the workplace • Passion for the creative industry and up-to-date knowledge of emerging trends and technologies • Fluent up to date knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite in particular InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop • Drive and determination to always get the job done to the highest standard, and willingness to go the extra mile to do so
